The newly established DBCC planning centre will be the home of key resources representing the principle coal producers and rail and port service providers in the Northern Bowen Basin with ultimate strategic purpose of increasing throughput and predictability of the coal chain. Reporting to the DBCC Planning Centre Manager this specialist role requires extensive working knowledge of strategic and operational planning and processes across major supply chain assets within ports and rail. Experience in planning the integration of coal supply, shipping demand and asset capability to maximise throughput across a bulk terminal operation is highly desirable.
